It is not unnatural for Japanese junior high and high school students to have girl or boy friend and going date with their girl or boy friend is also common. Although I do not know much about the way of dating in US, I think there are many differences between Japan and United States in terms of the way of dating. Therefore, I would like to explain dating in Japan. In Japan, high school students tend to have girl or boy friend who is the same high school student. Though it depends on the situation in high school, making girl or boy friend in the school is easier than making in other schools, because there are few chances to have contact with other schools. Accordingly, going or leaving school with their girl or boy friend is the most common way of dating for high school students. On the other hand, the way of dating for university students is completely different from the way of high school student’s one. At first, it is hard for university students to go or leave with, because each student has different class schedules. Furthermore, university students are more independent than high school students in terms of economic strength and social responsibility. Therefore, it is common for university students to go to amusement park, such as Disney Land and Disney Sea, and having lunch and dinner with their girl or boy friend. Although there are some differences between university students and high school students about dating, it is an essential for dating to have enjoyable time with their girl or boy friend .
